90210, the mythical zip code. Images of glamour, and the rich come to mind. However, in the 90′s the famous zip code would bring images of love triangles between Brenda, Dylan and Kelly. The show “Beverly Hills, 90210″ was a fun and sometimes scandalous look into the lives of teenagers growing up in Beverly Hills, It’s like watching the juicy gossip without having to spread it around yourself. There’s just something that lingers in our curiosity about those West Beverly High students and our inability to switch the channel once it’s on, even years after the show came off the air.
Thankfully, a new incarnation chock full of the same glitz, glamour and exciting scandal was revisited in 2008. After four years on the air, the show with the famous zipcode celebrated it’s 100th episode at the zesty, and spicy “Pink Taco.” Where cast, writers and producers were in attendance. We were fortunate enough to have a special vantage point next to the stage from where got to listen to each cast member from the new show give out speeches and well deserved toast to the producers.
It was a special moment, and you could feel the excitement and love for this show in air. Just like the famous zip code, we spied many famous faces in the attendance to share in the love, Carmen Electra, being but one. The whole cast dove into the celebration by taking pictures at our open air photo booth! We were able to capture the special moments and hope they have many more to come in the upcoming seasons!
